• your vehicle details, such as registration, make, model and fault history
• your postcode and the location of the vehicle
• the content of your message, and any photos or videos you choose to send

Please do not send us more personal information than we need to deal with your enquiry.

Why we use your data and our lawful basis

• To answer your enquiry and give you a quote: so that we can take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
• To arrange and carry out work on your vehicle: because it is necessary to perform our contract with you.
• To keep invoices and accounting records: because we have a legal obligation to do so.
• To deal with queries, complaints or claims about our work: because we have a legitimate interest in running our business properly and protecting our legal position.
• To use optional website analytics: only with your consent, as explained in our cookie policy.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

How long we keep your data

• WhatsApp, operated by Meta: if you message us on WhatsApp, your messages and number are handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
• Our email provider: website form submissions and emails are received and stored in our email account.
• Our web host: this site runs on servers provided by our hosting company, which processes website data on our behalf.

We may also share data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the provider’s own safeguards, such as UK adequacy decisions or standard contractual terms approved for UK transfers.
